We've had the pleasure of playing host to Manchester band Stolen Peace recently. The first band to come into our Cheshire studios, to record their full album, they have set a real precedent. On day one they came in to record a few tracks, yet the day went so well, through the combination of their talents, the studios' acoustics, and our sound engineering expertise (naturally), we managed to record 12 drum tracks.
All of which will be included on the album. The drum room's incredible dynamic enabled us to get such a great sound in a short space of time. Up and coming Irish band, Key West, choose Edge recording studios Cheshire, to record the drums for their debut album...
We were very pleased to welcome Key West into our Cheshire recording studios. They recently flew across from Dublin to England for a couple of days to record all of the drums for their debut album with us at Edge. Thanks to the natural acoustics of our exceptional drum room, and the fine ears of our sound engineers, we were able to record all 7 drum tracks within the time allocated. Which were then mixed by world-class mixer Dan Frampton (The Script, Dido, Blue, Ronan Keating etc).
